It’s also highly hypoallergenic and an overall good investment as a luxury item. Due to its high gold content it is softer than 14K gold when used on its own. Physical Vapor Deposition is a gold coating process that enhances the durability of stainless steel jewelry by creating a strong layer of 18K gold bonded at the molecular level to the steel core. This process results in a finish that is 10 times more durable than traditional plating due to its strong bond, thick and even gold layer.
